Connelly signs five-book deal with Orion

Orion Publishing Group has signed five more books by author Michael Connelly.

Publisher Emad Akhtar acquired UK and Commonwealth, e-book and audio rights from Little, Brown US. The new Connelly titles will publish onto the Orion Fiction list in the UK, Connelly’s publishers for over 30 years, with the first book of this new deal publishing on 7th November, the brand new Lincoln Lawyer novel, Resurrection Walk.

Connelly, who was awarded the Outstanding Contribution to Crime Fiction Award at the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival last summer, was recently announced as a 2023 Grand Master by the Mystery Writers of America.

Connelly was previously awarded the Crime Writers’ Association’s prestigious Diamond Dagger award, and will also receive a Silver Bullet award from the International Thriller Writers association this spring. He is also currently executive producer of three shows: “Bosch” (Prime Video), “Bosch: Legacy” (IMDB TV via Amazon Prime UK) and “The Lincoln Lawyer” (Netflix), David E Kelley’s series based on Connelly’s Lincoln Lawyer novels.
