Cornerstone has signed City Country Coast, the third book from members’ club Soho House, to be published on 9th February 2023.
Publishing director Ben Brusey bought world all language rights from agent Trevor Dolby at Aevitas Creative Management UK.
Following Eat Drink Nap and Morning Noon Night, the new book celebrates Soho House’s latest destinations around the world, from urban oases in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Rome and Paris to rural escapes in Oxfordshire and Somerset, and coastal havens in Mykonos, Barcelona, Brighton, Saint Vincent and Tel Aviv.
The publisher said: “Capturing the local essence of each House, City Country Coast transports readers into the heart of Soho House like never before. Each chapter shares signature food and drink recipes from the Soho House kitchens, design stories from the houses and tips on how to re-create the Soho House style in your own home. As explained by Soho House experts, this book is a guide to achieving the contemporary, cosy and global style of Soho House.”
As part of an exclusive early release, Soho House members will be able to purchase the book directly through Soho House from 30th November.
Nick Jones, founder and c.e.o. of Soho House, said: “Whether you’re a member or a guest, the most important thing to us is that you feel at home in one of our Houses. It’s at heart of everything we do; from design and furniture, to food and drink and even music and lighting. Over the years I’ve often been asked how to re-create these things, so I hope this book makes it a little easier for anyone to bring Soho House into their home.”
Jess Ballance, editor at Cornerstone, commented: “As long-time publishers and admirers of Soho House’s iconic style, we are over the moon to be publishing City Country Coast. Filled with swoon-worthy interiors, delectable food and drink recipes and invaluable design advice, we just know that this extraordinary new book will delight readers once again and become a must-have read – and coffee table staple – for years to come.”
