DK will to publish What Mummy Makes: Family Meal Planner in December 2020, the follow-up to What Mummy Makes: Cook Just Once for You and Your Baby by Rebecca Wilson.
Senior acquisitions editor Stephanie Milner acquired world rights from Darryl Samaraweera at Artellus Ltd. The title will be published on 10th December 2020.
In What Mummy Makes: Cook Just Once For You and Your Baby, Wilson introduced her philosophy that parents can wean their babies and introduce them to a variety of new foods, while sharing the same meals with them to reduce stress at family meal times.
What Mummy Makes: Family Meal Planner is a follow-up journal that will "guide parents through a full week of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack ideas, including checklists and advice on baby’s first 100 foods, space to plan your own family’s food week-by-week and blank shopping lists to fill in to make family meal planning a breeze." The book will also include 28 new recipes.
Milner said: "Rebecca is driven by a genuine passion to change the way real families cook and eat at home. Helping her find ways to improve the quality of family life with this remarkable meal planner is a total thrill!"
Wilson commented: "As a fellow parent I can relate to the struggles of raising a family, my goal is to ensure feeding your family is not one of them, by helping inspire you in the kitchen to create delicious and easy to prepare meals that everyone can enjoy together. Saving you time and most importantly your sanity! So I’m incredibly delighted to be able to continue this by creating a meal planner that I hope, alongside my cookbook, will become your family feeding bible."
What Mummy Makes: Cook Just Once For You and Your Baby was published by DK in July 2020 and debuted at the top of The Bookseller's hardback non-fiction chart.
