Ebury bags Raines’ guide to being trans

Ebury Self hub has signed a “one-stop guide to everything trans related” by YouTuber Jamie Raines entitled The T in LGBT: Everything You Need to Know About Being Trans.

Sam Jackson, editorial director, acquired world all language rights from Jenny Rose at 84 World, for publication on 29th June 2023.

Jamie Raines is a 29-year-old trans man from the UK. Since starting his YouTube channel over a decade ago at 17, he has amassed over one million subscribers who have followed his transitioning journey. With a PhD in Psychology focusing on transgender development and wellbeing, Jamie uses his platform to shine a light on what it means to be trans.

The publisher says of the book: “Full of advice, tips and personal stories from an array of trans voices, this book is a guide to help, explore and learn about everything surrounding gender identity. From realising your trans, starting hormones, considering surgery and everything in between. Jamie unpacks important topics in an approachable and light-hearted way.”
