Ebury Edge has nabbed Be Useful, a "game-changing" book by bodybuilding icon, Hollywood A-lister and ex-California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Robyn Drury, editorial director at Ebury, acquired UK and Commonwealth rights (excluding Canada) from Jonny Geller at Curtis Brown on behalf of Byrd Leavell at United Talent Agency. Be Useful will publish on 10th October in hardback, ebook and audio editions, simultaneously with Penguin Press in the US.
Said to be full of compelling personal stories, the book will be published in more than 25 languages in what will be a global launch this autumn. The synopsis said: "Be Useful explores the path to personal fulfilment via clear vision, big thinking, hard work, direct communication, resilient problem-solving, open-minded curiosity and a commitment to giving back."
Drury said: "We are so excited to be publishing Arnold’s fantastic book, which reflects his decades of extraordinary achievement in several fields.
"There is no one quite like Arnold, who has truly walked the walk in so many ways, and in Be Useful the same brilliant dynamism that has driven his career leaps off the page. The book offers so much wisdom that will resonate with so many and we know readers will be buying it for generations to come."
