Ebury Lifestyle goes on Healing Journey with Instagram illustrator Bochis
Ebury Lifestyle has signed Instagram illustrator Iulia Bochis’ The Sun, The Sea and The Stars: Ancient Wisdom as a Healing Journey, “a timely tale of personal growth and self-love”.
World all language rights were acquired directly from the author by former commissioning editor Marianne Tatepo, for publication on 1st September 2022.
Foreign rights have been sold in nine territories so far, including: Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, Polish, Italian, French, German, US & Canadian and Greek rights.
The publisher says the book is “packed with Iulia’s gentle yet powerful illustrations, paired with meaningful words of wisdom and a beautiful narrative that tells a timely tale of personal growth and self-love” and that “readers will journey from darkness to light through the rhythm of the seasons, on a deeply relatable quest for inner peace”.
Bochis, a Romanian illustrator based in Switzerland and the creator of the Instagram page @iuliastration, which has more than 590,000 followers, said: “The Sun, The Sea and The Stars tells the story of one traveller’s inner journey reflected in the world around her. Journeying through darkness, light, and everything in between, the book is an invitation to appreciate life with each step.”
