Ebury Press has snapped up rights to Molly Roden Winter’s New York Times bestselling memoir about open marriage.
Robyn Drury, publishing director, acquired UK and Commonwealth rights, excluding Canada, from Milly Ruggiero at the Rights Factory. More: A Memoir of Open Marriage will publish into UK markets on 21st March 2024 in hardback, and earlier in e-book and audio.
More was published by Doubleday in the US in January to great acclaim. It is billed as “a candid, accessible and down-to-earth account of one woman’s journey from life as a conventional wife and mother to a decidedly unconventional open marriage”.
“Grappling along the way with sex, parenting, love and commitment, it offers both steamy fun and poignant reflections on motherhood, daughterhood, marriage and self-fulfilment" the publisher said. “As non-monogamy moves from the fringes to mainstream conversation, More will answer the questions on everyone’s minds: how would you deal with envy? And, what if your partner fell in love with someone else?”
Drury said: “After seeing the huge response to this unputdownable book in the US press, the team at Ebury were so intrigued, and as soon as I started reading the manuscript I knew we simply had to publish it in the UK. Molly’s voice is candid, funny and utterly compelling on the page, and we can’t wait for readers to discover the book.”
