Ebury Press has scooped Real Healthy, a book of "simply, healthy wholefood recipes", from Melissa Hemsley.
Commissioning editor Celia Palazzo acquired world all-language rights from Alice Russell at The Found. The cookbook will be published on 11th July.
Hemsley’s new "highly practical cookbook is designed to make healthy, delicious food achievable for everyone". The recipes include one-pot "lazy" lasagne, cherry bakewell granola and "take-to-work" white bean chilli, along with "tips and meal plans to help you stay on top of the week’s shopping and cooking".
Hemsley said: "I am thrilled to be working with Ebury again on my sixth cookbook. Real Healthy is my kind of cooking – nourishing, easy, full-flavoured and veg-packed meals for real life. With shortcuts, simple batch cooking, time-saving traybakes and packed lunches you’ll actually look forward to, I hope this book helps busy people and families navigate the tricky problem of how to avoid ultra-processed foods (UPFs)."
Palazzo said: "We’ve all read how bad UPFs are for us, but it can be so hard to avoid those convenient shortcuts when juggling busy work and home lives. Enter Melissa – she’s thought about where we need the most help, and devised easy, practical ideas for where we can swap UPFs for wholesome, healthy ingredients. As ever, her food is doable and delicious, and her joy and enthusiasm radiate off the page."
