Ebury Press has acquired Tasty High Protein, the debut cookbook by Fraser Reynolds.
Commissioning editor Sam Crisp acquired world rights direct from the author, who is a Scottish PE teacher turned qualified nutrition coach and social media creator. The book is scheduled for publication on 11th January 2024.
The publisher says: “Whether you’re looking to lose fat, gain muscle or hit your macro targets, Fraser’s recipes show you how to reach your goals while still eating the food you love.
“Tasty High Protein is packed with 100 high protein, filling, slimming and fuss-free recipes all under 600 calories. With calorie counts, nutritional breakdowns and barcodes for every recipe so that they can be easily scanned into a food tracking app, as well as simple lower cal swaps and high-protein tips, this book has everything you need to transform your diet.
“Sections include Quick Bites to throw together when you’re short on time, Family Favourites the whole household will love, Fakeaway recipes for calorie-controlled versions of all your favourite treats, Air Fryer and Slow Cooker recipes to save energy, and Meal Prep to help you get ahead with filling options ready to eat at a moment’s notice."
Crisp said: “Ebury are thrilled to be publishing Fraser’s first book. His easy, delicious recipes have helped thousands to reach their goals and his light-hearted approach is a breath of fresh air in the diet space. Tasty High Protein is a brilliant, simple resource for anyone looking to take the stress out of healthy eating for good.”
Fraser said: “This is something beyond my wildest dreams, and I am still pinching myself. A massive thanks to anyone who has ever liked, commented, or interacted in any way with my social media – even if it was just to slag my hair! I’m over the moon to be sharing these recipes with you all, and I hope you and the family have as much fun making them as I did. There are 100 of the best of the best in here that I’m sure you’ll love, but as always everything is simple, straightforward, packed with protein, and delicious!"
