Ebury Press has bagged the first book by baking blogger Jane Dunn, who has amassed more than 350,000 subscribers to her Jane’s Patisserie site.
Sam Crisp at Ebury Press acquired world rights from the author direct for Jane’s Patisserie, to publish on 5th August 2021.
While training at Ashburton Chefs Academy, Dunn launched her blog which has quickly racked up subscribers. Her social media accounts include 470,000 Facebook and 690,000 Instagram followers. Her first book combines the classics from her blog such as NYC Cookies, No-Bake Biscoff Cheesecake and Salted Caramel Drip Cake, with new and exclusive recipes requested by her followers.
Ebury said: “Her recipes are simple, customisable, and suitable for all levels of baker. Each recipe comes with easy tips, to give you the inspiration and confidence to experiment, and make every recipe your own. Covering everything from gooey cookies and celebration cakes with a dreamy drip finish, to fluffy cupcakes and creamy no-bake cheesecakes, Jane's Patisserie is easy baking for everyone, to share, inspire and spread a little joy.”
Crisp commented: “Jane’s bakes have brought so much joy to so many of us, including me, since we’ve been at home, and we’re so excited to be spreading that joy even further with this book. We were first alerted to Jane by our Happy Foodie fans, so many of the PRH cookery channel’s subscribers loved Jane’s platform and her easy, comforting bakes.”
Dunn added: “When I started my blog I thought it would be a hobby, so to be able to publish my debut cookbook with Ebury only six years later is absolutely life changing and a career goal! I have always loved cooking and baking, and seeing my followers bake so many of my recipes during lockdown was so heartwarming. I can’t wait for everyone to see the brand new and exclusive recipes in this book!”
