Ebury is publishing the official TV tie-in to BBC One's new 2018 cookery show, Britain’s Best Cook.
The show is an eight-part series, transmitting in one-hour prime-time slots on BBC One in 2018, presented by Claudia Winkleman and featuring judges Mary Berry, Dan Doherty and Chris Bavin. Together they will test the expertise of home cooks across Britain while celebrating "the heart-warming food people make for their loved ones on a daily basis".
Its "official companion" will be a £25 photographed hardback and a collection of over 110 "delicious, inspiring, achievable" recipes for the dishes that the judges considered brilliant home cooking. It will feature step-by-step advice from food writer Jordan Bourke and a foreword by Claudia Winkleman.
Lizzy Gray, publishing director for Ebury Press and BBC Books, bought world rights from Antony Topping at Greene and Heaton on behalf of KEO Films.
Gray said: "Ebury are delighted to be working alongside KEO Films, BBC commissioning and award-winning food writer Jordan Bourke to launch a major new BBC brand and celebrate British home cooking at its very best."
