Electric Monkey snares ‘epic finale’ to Doyle and Webber’s Twin Crowns series 

Farshore’s YA imprint Electric Monkey will publish the “epic finale” of the YA series Twin Crowns trilogy by co-authors Catherine Doyle and Katherine Webber in May 2024.

Lindsey Heaven, fiction publishing director and Sarah Levison, editorial director acquired UK and Commonwealth rights from Claire Wilson of RCW literary agency. The first two books in the series were acquired in a major pre-empt in 2021. Book three has also been sold to Balzer & Bray/Harper US, taking the number of international deals for the Twin Crowns trilogy to 17.

Heaven and Levison said: “Twin Crowns is a shining jewel in our Electric Monkey crown and we couldn’t be more delighted to be publishing this sizzling conclusion to the bestselling trilogy.

Twin Crowns was shortlisted for the Teen & YA Book of the Year award at the 2022 An Post Irish Book Awards. The hashtag #TwinCrowns has amassed over six million views on TikTok, according to the publisher. The second book in the series, Cursed Crowns, is set to publish in May 2023 accompanied by a major marketing and PR campaign. There will also be exclusive Waterstones and Easons editions.

Twin Crowns published in May 2022, Cursed Crowns publishes in May 2023, and the as-yet-untitled third book will be published in May 2024 in paperback.
