Eriu acquires two books from Tallant

Eriu has acquired two books from the three-time winner of Irish Crime Journalist of the Year, Nicola Tallant. 

Deirdre Nolan, publishing director, acquired world rights in all languages directly from the author. The first book, Cocaine Cowboys: The Deadly Rise of Ireland’s Drug Lords, tells the story of the billion-euro trade, and how cocaine has woven bonds between high society and the underworld. It will publish on 2nd November 2023.  

Tallant is investigations editor of the Sunday World newspaper and the host of the "Crime World" podcast. She lives in Dublin. 

Nolan said: “I’m delighted to be welcoming Ireland’s top investigative crime journalist to the Eriu list. Nicola is a remarkable writer who gets to the heart of every story, and what a story this is – compulsive reading for any fan of true crime.”
