Faber lands 'delightful' QI quiz book

Faber is to publish Funny You Should Ask...Again, a book based on the BBC 2 game show "QI", featuring a foreword by broadcast journalist and presenter Zoe Ball.

The question book is written by the "QI Elves" — a team of researchers who put together the questions for TV show — and is the 19th QI title to be published by Faber. It will be released on 14th October, to coincide with the new series.

The synopsis explains: "From spiders to stinging nettles, bees to boy bands and twins to thermal undies, you’ll wonder why these questions never occurred to you before – but you’ll never forget the answers and will want to tell all your friends."

Associate publisher Laura Hassan acquired world rights from the BBC. Hassan said: "It is an absolute joy to be working with the winning combination of the "The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show" and "QI". This book is brimming with delightful questions and genuinely fascinating answers. For example, I just learned that every Christmas cracker contains a tiny amount of gunpowder — this book is sure to arrive with a bang on the 14th October."
