Faber Music and Decca Records will jointly publish The Gods We Can Touch, "a highly intimate" book from singer Aurora named after her eponymous album.
Lucy Holliday, head of commercial print publishing at Faber Music, Sarah Carton, e-commerce product manager at Decca Records, and George Edgeller, associate publisher at Universal Music Group, acquired global rights from Geir Luedy and Jamila Scott at Made Management. The book will be published in cloth-bound hardback on 16th November 2023.
The Gods We Can Touch takes readers to the "heart of Aurora’s world, through her creative process and inspiration" for her most recent album "The Gods We Can Touch". The book is a full-colour reproduction of the singer’s personal notebook and will feature all the song lyrics from the album, original album artwork and "stunning" photography. It is pitched as "the perfect companion guide into her universe".
Aurora has over one million global album sales according to the publisher and will release a special edition vinyl version of "The Gods We Can Touch" alongside the book.
Aurora commented: “This is a little book I wrote, trying to figure out the soul of my album."
