Faber has acquired paperback rights to Kate Bush’s selected lyrics, How to Be Invisible, with some copies featuring a message written in invisible ink by the musician.
World English-language paperback rights were acquired by Dan Papps, deputy director of music, directly from the author. The hardcover of How to Be Invisible was published by Faber & Faber in 2018.
The new paperback edition will feature a new introduction by Bush and illustrations by Jim Kay. It will be published on 6th April for £10.99.
There will be a very limited number of signed copies of the edition available from Waterstones, Rough Trade and independent book and record shops in the UK.
Bush has written a message in invisible ink in a small number of the signed copies, which will be distributed at random: the notes will be revealed to the recipients when they place the signature page under ultraviolet light.
