Sir Paul Nurse will narrate the audio edition of his book What is Life?, to be published by Faber in September.
Audio editor Catherine Daly acquired UK and Commonwealth audio rights (excluding Canada & ANZ) from David Fickling Books, which is publishing the title in print and e-book.
Nurse received a knighthood in 1999 for his contributions to cell biology and cancer research, and was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2001.
What is Life? will explore "biology's five great building blocks" including The Cell, The Gene, Evolution by Natural Selection, Life as Chemistry, Life as Information, as well as discussing how readers can change the world with this knowledge.
All three editions of What is Life? will be published on 3rd September 2020.
