Century is set to publish a book by the presenters of "The Football Ramble" podcast.
The weekly football punditry podcast, by presenters Marcus Speller, Luke Moore, Pete Donaldson and Jim Campbell, has been running for 10 years and downloaded 14m times in the last year.
Century will pair with Random House Enterprises and the quartet for live events to coincide with the book’s publication, which promises to “put all aspects of the game under the microscope”, including the World Cup and grassroots game in England.
James Keyte at Century bought world rights from Jonathan Teague, commercial manager for The Football Ramble.
Teague said: "We're delighted to have teamed up with Century to finally put down in words our many and varied thoughts on football, from the dazzling heights of the World Cup, to the muck-and-bullets style of the grassroots game in this country. For almost 10 years now on our show every week we've been giving people our take on the world's most ridiculous sport, and it's fantastic to get some of those thoughts, as well as a whole load of new ones, down in this book."
Keyte added that "The Football Ramble" presenters have "verve, honesty and infectious humour", along with their genuine understanding of what it means to be a supporter, which has proved to be "a winning formula".
"We’ve been fans of the podcast for a long time and are honoured to be partnering Jonathan and the team for this book," he said.
The Football Ramble will be published in hardback and audio on 20th October 2016.
