Hamlyn, part of Octopus Publishing Group, has acquired the new gluten-free cookbook from Megan McKenna. Eleanor Maxfield acquired world rights from Jo Bell at Bell Lomax Moreton via Jade Reuben at Bold Management. It will be published in March 2025 at £22 by publisher Kate Fox.
In the follow-up to her first cookbook Can You Make That Gluten-free?, TV personality, singer and “Celebrity MasterChef” finalist Megan McKenna shares gluten-free recipes that spark joy for her and that are perfect for sharing with loved ones.
McKenna is a singer, TV personality, highly engaged influencer and brand ambassador, with social media platforms totalling more than 4.5 million followers. She is an ambassador for The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, a campaigner for coeliac disease and presented a film on allergies for BBC’s “The One Show”.
Fox said: “Megan is a passionate campaigner for better understanding of allergies and coeliac disease, and these recipes prove that a gluten-free diet doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice flavour or fun!”
McKenna said: “It’s all about love in our house and I’m so excited to bring that into my second cookbook. My favourite thing to do in life is to be at home whipping up good gluten-free recipes, sharing my stories in the kitchen, and cooking for Oli and my loved ones! After having my first cookbook it made me realise how many people struggle with cooking, especially people with allergies or who have coeliac disease. So making a second cookbook seemed perfect! Years of sharing my recipes with my social media following and chatting away while I dish up has become part of my daily routine and I now have a beautiful family at home and a beautiful online family. It makes me smile knowing I’m helping so many people – life is all about making people feel good and making memories. This book is exactly that!”
Love Gluten Free by Megan McKenna will be published by Hamlyn in March 2025 at £22 in hardback.
