Octopus imprint Hamlyn has bagged a second TV tie-in by "Eat Shop Save" host Dale Pinnock.
Eat Shop Save: 8 Weeks to Better Health will be published in July, just ahead of the new ITV series this August.
Eleanor Maxfield, editorial director at Octopus, acquired world rights from Shirley Patton, head of publishing at ITV Studios Global Entertainment.
It contains over 80 brand-new recipes accompanied by nutritional information and curated meal planners to help people get fit, lose weight, save money and improve their lifestyle in just eight weeks.
The first book, Eat Shop Save, has sold 23,605 UK copies since its release in July 2018, according to Nielsen BookScan.
“This year, both the series and the book focus on how achievable and sustainable it is to change your lifestyle, helping readers to follow their own eight-week kickstart programme and maintain the results for good,” Hamlyn said. “Eat Shop Save ambassadors have praised Dale and the team for helping them to transform their eating habits, shed pounds and make serious savings. Even more impressive, they’ve kept up with the results long after the filming has finished. “
