Hamlyn, part of the Octopus Publishing Group, is set to publish "culinary adventure" through Hong Kong from food author and TV chef Jeremy Pang.
Publisher Kate Fox and editorial director Natalie Bradley acquired world all-language rights to Hong Kong Kitchen from Richard Watts at Ever Forwards Partnership. The book will be published in February 2025 and priced at £25.
Pang’s book has been updated and the publisher said it "offers a fascinating insight into the region’s rich food culture" and includes more than 70 recipes, including street food from dumplings, baos and barbecue snacks through to hotpots, rice pots, noodles, desserts and drinks.
Pang said: "I’m so excited to be launching my next cookbook: Hong Kong Kitchen in conjunction with my recent epic adventure with my friends and celebrity guests who came out to enjoy the journey with me. This book is a wonderful revisit of Hong Kong Diner, my original ’love letter to Hong Kong’; one of the most unique cities in the world. It tells my personal relationship with the city through its endless array of mouthwatering food and in many ways pays homage to my late father who, until the day he passed, just wanted one last bite of Hong Kong crispy pork."

Pang comes from three generations of Chinese chefs and attributes his love of food to his father who, Pang said, "was keen for him to experience exciting flavours and foods from a young age".
Pang has won both Rising Young Star and Best Specialist Cookery School at the British Cookery School Awards 2015. He recipes have featured in a variety of publications and he makes regular TV and radio appearances, as well as hosting his own successful ITV show, Jeremy Pang’s Asian Kitchen.
The book will be published to coincide with a new ITV series due to air spring 2025 in which Jeremy introduces Hong Kong, and a number of recipes from the book, to celebrity visitors including Mel Giedroyc, Grace Dent, Tom Skinner, Simon Rimmer, Chris Bavin and Nisha Katona.
Fox said: "There is nobody better placed to introduce us to the vibrant, delicious food culture of Hong Kong than Jeremy."
Hong Kong Kitchen by Jeremy Pang will be published by Hamlyn on 27th February 2025 at £25 in hardback.
