Harper360 will publish Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s latest novel The Accomplice in the UK on 10th October.
Patrik Henry Bass, executive editor at HarperCollins US imprint Amistad, acquired world rights for two novels from Marc Gerald at Europa Content for world rights.
The Accomplice focuses on Nia Robinson, a rookie FBI agent in the agency’s Robbery Division. Her drive to join local Texas law enforcement and eventually the bureau are fed by a family legacy. Her father worked his way up from teller to banking executive—one of the first Black men in the organisation to do so when he was accused, and eventually convicted of embezzlement. She is out to avenge his name, and to lock up Desmond Roberts, former finance executive and current robbery mastermind.
“The Accomplice is going to surprise readers in wonderful ways,” said Bass. “It’s everything you want in a page-turner: vivid writing, complex, multi-dimensional characters, many plot twists, witty dialogue, and Curtis’ inimitable charm and authenticity.”
