HarperCollins has acquired the rights to the "hilarious and honest" debut from TV presenter and podcaster Vogue Williams. Harper NonFiction publishing director Ajda Vucicevic struck the deal for world rights to Big Mouth with Louisa McDonald at Money Talent Management and Nicky Lovick at WGM Atlantic.
Williams is the co-host of the podcast My Therapist Ghosted Me, which has more than three million monthly listeners, and recently launched her own podcast Never Live it Down, as well as presenting ITV’s Lorraine.
Williams’ debut tracks her life from modelling burgers on a Dublin main street to taking three-hour bathroom naps on a night out. The publisher said the book is written with her "trademark warmth and wit", as she shares candid stories of divorce, anxiety, family life, botox, ghosts and her latest husband, alongside important life lessons such as how to sellotape a bottle of vodka to your inner thigh on a night out.
Vucicevic said: "Quite simply, I am Vogue’s number one fan, so when she finally said yes to the book I was over the moon. Having now read it, I am beyond the moon and back again with excitement and anticipation. It’s raw, it’s candid, it’s extremely funny and everything you want it to be. I cannot wait for us to share it with the world. It’s going to be a riot."
Williams said: "People always wonder what I do… Now I can tell them I’m an author."
The book will publish into hardback, e-book and audio on 22nd May 2025.
