HarperCollins Publishers has acquired the rights to hormonal health handbook from naturopathic nutritionist Jessica Shand. HarperNonFiction publishing director, Lydia Good, acquired rights to The Hormone Balance Handbook direct from the author.
The publisher said The Hormone Balance Handbook "is the ultimate guide to achieving hormonal harmony through Shand’s food-as-medicine approach".
The synopsis reads: "With more than 75 delicious recipes—each designed to prioritise hormone balance and promote overall health—plus a comprehensive hormone reset meal plan and essential hormone science, the book includes a wealth of ingredients that nourish and heal from the inside out. From a plant-based protein ragù to replenish depleted stores of vitamins, to comforting curries crafted for your gut microbes and hearty broths that act as powerhouse elixirs, all tailored to the different phases of your cycle.

The book will publish in hardback and ebook on 16th January 2025.
