HarperCollins has bought the debut cookbook from outdoor pizza oven brand Gozney, Pizza Volume 01: A guide to your pizza-making journey and other outdoor recipes.
HarperNonFiction publishing director Lydia Good negotiated the deal for world rights directly with founder Tom Gozney. Pizza Volume 01 will be published on 9th May 2024 in hardback and e-book.
HarperCollins said the book, which has already earned praise from chef Gordon Ramsey, offers the “ultimate guide to your pizza making journey”, including recipes from Gozney himself and various other award-winning chefs with more than 75 pizza recipes and 20 alternative outdoor dishes.
The publisher said “Established in 2010, Gozney has fast become international leaders in the outdoor pizza oven market, shipping to over 45 countries worldwide and continuously pushing the boundaries of design and live-fire cooking with their multi-award-winning product range.
“Tom Gozney, the face and founder of the brand, built his first pizza oven by hand at just 21 while searching for a way to reconnect with friends and family. Long nights spent around the fire uncovered not just good pizza, but also the magic of live-fire cooking and its power to bring people together.
“Now, with ovens in over 250,000 gardens and restaurants, and almost a million followers across their social platforms, Gozney have established a truly global community of food lovers who share a passion for pizza, live-fire cooking and connecting outdoors.”
