HarperCollins imprint Thorsons has signed food blogger Sarah Rossi’s début recipe book What’s For Dinner: Fuss-free family food in 30 minutes, and one other title.
Lydia Good, editorial director, acquired world all language rights to two books from Laurie Robertson at PFD, with What’s For Dinner to be published on 2nd February 2023.
In What’s For Dinner, the publisher says, Rossi “will take the pain out of food planning for the everyday”.
Featuring 10 unique meal plans, each made up of eight recipes including weekday staples and weekend treats, and a complete shopping list for each that tells readers exactly what ingredients they’ll need to buy at the start of the week, “Sarah’s crowd-pleasing dishes will appeal to the whole family, like her heavenly Halloumi Bean Bake, her wonderful One Pan Lasagne or her scrumptious Sloppy Joes.
“The recipes are affordable and accessible but aspirational, aiming to show what can be achieved in 30 minutes or less.”
Sarah Rossi started her food blog Taming Twins in 2013 to share recipes that help her juggle good cooking with the realities of working life. She has since amassed 15 million page views a year and more than a million social media followers.
Rossi said: “This book is for anyone who’s juggling work, children, school pick-up, homework, trying to be healthy, and by dinner time feeling like it’s too much. I see you, I feel you, I am you and I wrote this book for you. I hope these recipes genuinely make your life a little easier.”
Good added: “Sarah’s passion for creating delicious, comforting and speedy recipes has already helped so many people and we’re thrilled to be bringing her time-saving solutions to the masses. Sarah is a joy to work with – her thoughtful and meticulously planned meal plans and shopping lists are a real life-saver for busy families, and make this book an absolutely essential addition to any kitchen shelf.”
