HarperCollins has secured world English rights for three more novels with Jeffrey Archer.
The deal was negotiated by managing director Kate Elton and executive publisher Kimberley Young, with James Archer and Alan Mitchell from Mitchell Rights Management.
The new deal will continue the William Warwick series, which continues this autumn with Traitors Gate, with the first book in the new deal to be published in 2024. Archer returned to HarperCollins in 2021.
Charlie Redmayne, c.e.o. said: “From his early novels such as Kane and Abel and Shall We Tell the President to the brilliant William Warwick novels and the upcoming Traitors Gate, Jeffrey never lets his readers down – I am a huge fan. Jeffrey Archer and HarperCollins is a fantastic partnership and one we’re excited to see flourish even further.”
Elton added: “Working with Jeffrey is such an enormous pleasure. His work ethic is tireless, he dedicates himself to each and every novel as though it’s his first, and his passion and energy are genuinely inspiring.”
Archer said: “I’m delighted to remain with HarperCollins for a new three-book contract and I couldn’t have a better team supporting me.”
