HarperCollins has acquired world all-language rights for ‘It’s Probably Nothing’: Critical Conversations on the Women’s Health Crisis by journalist and presenter Naga Munchetty.
HarperNonFiction commissioning editor Julia Pollacco struck the deal with Sara Ray at M&C Saatchi, and the book will publish in hardback, e-book and audiobook on 24th April 2025.
In 2023, Munchetty spoke out about her diagnosis of the gynaecological condition adenomyosis and her struggles to be taken seriously by healthcare professionals. The book highlights what people should look out for when seeking help.
Munchetty said: “It’s becoming increasingly clear that women, and those who love women, need to know how to fight for their health and arm themselves with the right tools to do that effectively. I’m passionate about writing a book that can help women. It’s time our health is taken seriously.”
Pollacco said: “I am so pleased to be working on this book with Naga. Her knowledge and passion for women’s health is unlike anything I’ve seen in the past, and I am constantly left agog by the stories she shares with me. The team here can’t wait for women to read this book—I genuinely believe it’ll be a game changer for anyone who has struggled with being taken seriously at the doctor’s office, whether advocating for themselves or loved ones.”
