HarperNonFiction updates Kelly's The Other Side of the Coin for Queen's jubilee
HarperNonFiction is publishing an updated version of The Other Side of the Coin by Angela Kelly to coincide with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June.
Katya Shipster, publishing director, negotiated the deal directly with the author. She previously struck the deal for world all languages for the original book with Elizabeth Sheinkman at PFD. The new special edition will publish in hardback, audio and e-book on 12th May 2022.
Kelly has worked with the Queen for 28 years, initially as her senior dresser and then latterly as personal curator for wardrobe in-house designer. She is the first person in history to hold this title.
The revised edition features redesigned commemorative packaging plus new photography and an additional chapter, covering the royal household’s isolation during lockdowns at Windsor Castle, The Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral and the first public engagements post lockdown, as well as a look ahead to the Jubilee celebrations in June.
