Harry Potter actress Evanna Lynch will narrate Irish author Sam Blake's feminist thriller, Keep Your Eyes on Me (Bolinda), billed as "Strangers on a Train” meets “Dial M For Murder”.
The deal for world English language audio rights was agreed between Ellis Moore, senior rights and content manager at Bolinda, and Simon Trewin of the Simon Trewin Literary Agency.
Lynch starred as Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter film series, appearing in the last four films. "Lynch’s notable voice and Irish roots only embellish and build on the powerful, fast-paced thriller penned by Sam Blake, for a unique listening experience," Bolinda said.
Bolinda previously published the audio editions of Blake’s police procedural series featuring Irish detective Cat Connolly, the first of which was shortlisted for Irish Crime Novel of the Year.
The audio edition is available from Thursday 9th January in trade CD, MP3 CD and digitally, as well as in libraries. Keep Your Eyes on Me was published in print on 2nd January by Corvus, an imprint of Atlantic Books.
"It has been an absolute pleasure working with Simon and Sam to acquire and cast this wonderfully crafted thriller—bringing Evanna’s voice to such powerful female characters has been such a huge added bonus and she will be known around the globe," Moore said.
Trewin said: "Sam Blake, Bolinda for audio, and Corvus for print, is the perfect trio and I am excited to see what heights we can reach between us all in 2020.”
Blake added: "I’m absolutely thrilled Evanna agreed to read Keep Your Eyes on Me—this is the first time she’s done a full audio book narration and it’s Sam Blake’s first psychological thriller, so it’s doubly exciting. I flew to London to meet her while she was recording and loved everything she brought to the script, the characters and their accents."
