Hay and Dodd team up for Egmont picture book

Writer Sam Hay and illustrator Emma Dodd are working together on a picture book entitled Hugs and Kisses.

The book, which will be published by Egmont in January next year, can be read forwards or backwards and is about a whale and an octopus who are looking for a hug and a kiss.  

Melissa Fairley, publishing director of picture book and gift, and Abi Luffman, senior designer, signed the deal for world rights from in all languages with Gemma Cooper at The Bent Agency (Hay’s agent) and Eunice McMullen (Dodd’s agent).

Hugs and Kisses will publish 10th January in paperback and will be priced at £7.99.
