Headline Home signs self-employed cleaner and TikTok creator Russell’s guide to saving money 

Headline Home has acquired How to Save Money by Ann Russell, a self-employed cleaner known as “TikTok’s Auntie”.

Editorial director Anna Steadman acquired world rights directly from the author for publication in hardback, e-book and audio edition on 27th April. Headline published Russell’s first book, How To Clean Everything, in September 2022.

The synopsis for How to Save Money reads: “As the cost of living crisis bites, we are all looking for ways to cut bills and save money. Ann Russell has lived much of her life on a tight budget and since energy bills first started risinghas been answering fans’ questions not just about cleaning but about all kinds of ways to save.

“In How To Save Money Ann will share her advice on the best ways to economise and cut back in all sorts of areas, covering everything from budgeting to meal planning and reducing food waste, and from tips on spending less each month to the most energy-efficient ways to heat your house, do your laundry etc.

Russell is a self-employed cleaner who has 2.3 million followers on TikTok, where she regularly shares cleaning and general life advice. She said: “Once again I am thrilled to be given the chance to do something I so enjoy. I really hope this book will help people to not just save money, but to re-evaluate their attitudes towards spending. This is a tough time for most of us and if I can help it will be so very rewarding.”
