Headline Home has acquired Simply Raymond Kitchen Garden, a new cookbook by Raymond Blanc.
Publishing director Lindsey Evans bought world rights from Rosemary Scoular at United Agents, and the book will be published by Headline Home on 11th September 2025.
"Simply Raymond Kitchen Garden is a celebration of seasonal ingredients, grown and cooked by Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, his hotel and restaurant in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside," the synopsis says. "The book mirrors the important connection – the ethos, principles, heart and soul – between kitchen and garden that Raymond has been so passionate about throughout his career."
It adds: "Whether a quick midweek supper or something for a special occasion, the recipes are divided between a dozen sections, including Breakfast and Brunch, Soups and Salads, Starters, Mains and Desserts. With additional chapters on Biscuits and Cakes, Celebrations and Drinks, this book is filled with accessible recipes celebrating Raymond Blanc’s most-loved ingredients and flavours from his garden, which he delights in sharing with his readers."
Evans said: "I am thrilled to be publishing another cookbook by the inimitable Raymond Blanc. He is, without a doubt, one of the best chefs on the planet, and he is also one of the best teachers. This cookbook is not a showcase for the Michelin-starred food that he made his name with; instead, it is for everyone who wants to make something simple and delicious for dinner with family or friends and who cares about the produce that they are cooking with."
Blanc added: "It is a great joy to write a cookbook which truly demonstrates the ease of cooking well and making uncomplicated dishes which still deliver the wow factor. There are recipes here which take me back to my childhood when my beloved Maman Blanc cooked for her large family. Some recipes stem from my travels, eating around the world. And there are recipes for the wholesome dishes we serve at Brasserie Blanc."
