Headline swept away by 'TikTok Auntie' cleaning expert Russell  

Headline has secured How to Clean Everything: A Practical, Down to Earth Guide for Anyone Who Doesn’t Know Where to Start by Ann Russell.  

Senior commissioning editor Anna Steadman acquired world rights directly from the author for publication on 1st September 2022.  

Known as the “TikTok Auntie”, Russell regularly shares cleaning tips and general life advice on the platform, and was recently recognised on Grazia’s “TikTok Power List”.

How to Clean Everything expands Russell’s TikTok brand, offering “genuinely useful tips and tricks” on everything from laundry to accidents and cleaning room by room. It will also include sections on general household maintenance, and is described as especially useful for renters or anyone living away from home for the first time. Russell’s approach is “realistic, reassuring and easy to follow”, the publisher said.  

“Ann Russell is hands-down one of the best things about TikTok, and her advice was crying out to be made into a book,” Steadman commented. “I’m truly delighted to be working with Ann.
