Sinclair, author of the Enemy and James Ryker series of espionage thrillers, said: “I'm so excited to be launching this new series, which has been in the works for some time, and I'm equally excited by the prospect of having not one but two fantastic publishers behind me and DI Dani Stephens. I can't wait for readers to get drawn into Dani's complex and disturbing life.”
“We’ve been fans of Rob Sinclair for several years and always wanted to publish him,” said Bhaskar. “He writes intense and complex books that glue you to the page. We’re delighted to be working with our friends at Hera to take Rob to the widest possible audience.”
Naidoo said: “As soon as I read Essence of Evil, I absolutely knew this was a book I wanted to publish. Dani Stephens is a strong, resourceful, detective with a complex, heartbreaking backstory that will have readers eager to read future books in the series. The killer in Essence of Evil sent shivers down my spine and had members of the Hera team locking their door while they read.”
