Kevin Duffy, publisher at Hebden Bridge-based Bluemoose Books, has acquired world rights to the next two books from Dublin writer Ronan Hession.
The two new books are entitled Paneka, to be published in 2021, followed by Ghost Mountain which is slated for 2023.
Duffy, who acquired the rights directly from the author, said: “If literature is about anything it is finding great new writers, and in Ronan we have found a great talent. To work with him on his next two novels and over the next four years is a delight and I hope readers will enjoy his books for years to come.”
Hession’s debut Leonard and Hungry Paul has been chosen for BBC Radio 2’s Book Club hosted by Jo Whiley and will be published on 20th March 2019.
