Hodder & Stoughton has scooped two more novels by "romance sensation" Lucy Score.
Commercial fiction publishing director Phoebe Morgan acquired UK and Commonwealth rights to Mr Fixer-Upper and The Christmas Fix from Flavia Viotti of the Bookcase Literary Agency. The books will be published in 2024 and 2025.
The author has written the Knockemout trilogy (Hodder Paperbacks) and 32 other novels. According to the publisher, she has sold more than 10 million copies of her books across 29 territories.
Score said: “I had the best time celebrating this milestone with my team at Hodder while I was in London. They have been so supportive and I’m excited to continue our relationship as they publish more of my books.”
Morgan added: “We are proud of Lucy and her wonderful books – she works so hard and seeing her sell-out tour has been amazing. The levels of reader engagement are sky-high. We’re so pleased to have more titles coming from Lucy next year – you’re all in for a festive treat. Her star continues to go from strength to strength and she is a shining beacon for the romance genre as a whole.”
Score has just completed a European tour, with talks and signings in Nottingham, London, Paris, Berlin, Lisbon and Amsterdam.
