"This Story Might Save Your Life is part riveting thriller, part aching love story, concerning what happens to best friends and survival podcast co-hosts, Joy and Benny, when one, a narcoleptic, goes missing and the other is suspected of their murder," the synopsis says. "As shattering home truths are revealed, will anybody survive this ordeal unscathed…?"
Crum said: "My goal with This Story Might Save Your Life was to create deeply lovable characters that I could plunge into the worst situation imaginable. I wanted to make people laugh and cry, cast light on invisible disabilities, and explore the role power dynamics play within romantic relationships. I’m thrilled to share this story with the world, and I know it’s in the best possible hands with the excellent team at Hodder & Stoughton."
Nevile added: "It’s rare to read a novel with such a palpable sense of excitement, feverishly rifling through the pages long into the night. Tiffany’s astonishing debut melds the most compelling elements of a suspenseful thriller and a heart-wrenching love story for a truly one-of-a-kind experience."
