HQ has netted three more thrillers by Louise Jensen.
Manpreet Grewal, publisher, acquired world English-language rights from Rory Scarfe at The Blair Partnership. The first book, The Fall, will publish in spring 2023.
The Fall is described as “a nail-biting and claustrophobic psychological thriller about a mother whose teenage daughter is found unconscious underneath a bridge”. The synopsis says: “Caily lies comatose in her hospital bed, and the police don’t believe it was an accident, but as the investigation progresses it becomes clear Caily’s family are keeping deadly secrets. And some secrets are worth killing for.”
Jensen said: “I’m delighted to be continuing my journey with HQ and can’t wait to get The Fall into the hands of readers next spring. The team have been fabulous to work with and I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds.”
Grewal added: “I’m thrilled we have three more edge-of-your-seat novels coming from Louise. She is a master of her genre – with intricate plotting, page-turning storytelling, and a heart-wrenching exploration of a family on the edge, The Fall is Louise’s best novel yet, and I know that her army of fans are going to devour it.”
