HQ has scored a "filthy" bonkbuster début from fashion designer Tabitha Webb in a two-book deal.
Executive publisher Lisa Milton acquired world rights for No Regrets from Alice Saunders at The Soho Agency. It will be published in paperback, e-book and audio on 20th August 2020.
The synopsis explains: "Friends Stella, Ana and Dixie are all at different stages in their lives, but they could all do with a shake-up. The three women are about to find out that life doesn’t stop in your forties – in fact it’s only just begun…Fresh, fearless and hilariously honest, No Regrets is perfect for fans of Dawn O’Porter, Kate Davies and Tracy Bloom."
Webb is an acclaimed designer and entrepreneur who launched her eponymous luxury fashion brand in 2013 and counts Miranda Kerr, Pippa Middleton and Fearne Cotton among her celebrity fans.
She said: "Since my teenage years I have dreamt of writing a bonkbuster – especially as a fortune teller once told me I would be the next Jackie Collins. I used to spend my (failed) Chemistry lessons writing sex scenes, so to actually have a chance to bring them to life in a book is a dream come true! I can only hope it makes you laugh, judge, cringe and NEVER settle for second best."
Milton added: "This book is filthy. Perfectly so. I’d like to think that Tabitha can follow in the footsteps of legendary novelists such as Jilly Cooper. No Regrets is feisty and fabulous. Every woman should read it."
