Kyle Cathie (pictured) has compiled A Taste of Home to raise funds for The Passage, London's largest homeless charity. The book will feature a foreword by HRH The Duke of Cambridge, a patron of the charity and active supporter.
The title will be independently published by The Passage, with the support and guidance of Cathie. The title will be published on 8th October 2020 and all the profits will go to The Passage.
In 2020, The Passage is celebrating 40 years of charitable work and helping over 130,000 people out of homelessness. Cathie complied the cookbook to mark the ocassion. The 120 recipes in the book have been donated by celebrities and famous chefs including Mary Berry, Cherie Blair, Rory Bremner, Samantha Cameron, David Dimbleby, Stephen Fry, Ken Hom, Nadiya Hussain, Paul McCartney, Andrew Marr, Yotam Ottolenghi, Jon Snow and Rick Stein. The majority of the recipies have not been published before.
Cathie is known for her publishing company Kyle Cathie Ltd, which was bought by Octopus in 2017 and now operates as Kyle Books.
