GBBO colouring book coming this autumn

Hodder & Stoughton is publishing two Great British Bake Off (GBBO) tie-in titles this autumn: Great British Bake Off: Perfect Cakes & Bakes to Make at Home, the official companion cookbook; and The Great British Bake Off Colouring Book.

The cookbook will feature classic baking favourites as well as the TV show’s showstoppers, whilst the colouring book has 90 illustrations from the GBBO official illustrator Tom Hovey. Illustrations have been chosen from previous series and include the ‘peacock cake’ by the 2015 winner Nadiya Hussain.  

Nicky Ross, Hodder’s lifestyle publisher, said: “Whatever the state of the nation, there’s something very comforting in knowing that Bake Off is going to be back on our screens soon.

“We know that The Great British Bake Off is enjoyed by millions of people every year, and not all of them are committed bakers, so with these two books we’re offering everyone the chance to make their own beautiful bakes, without necessarily even setting foot in the kitchen.”

The Great British Bake Off: Perfect Cakes & Bakes to Make at Home will be published in August and The Great British Bake Off Colouring Book will be released in September.

They are both published as part of a GBBO publishing agreement between Love Productions and Hodder & Stoughton. Hovey is represented by Julia Kingsford of Kingsford Campbell.
