Ilex to publish Marvel dot-to-dot titles

Ilex Press, part of the Octopus Publishing Group, will publish two dot-to-dot books this autumn based on the Marvel universe.

The Amazing Marvel 1000 Dot-to-Dot Book, featuring 20 dot-to-dots of Marvel characters like Thor, Ant Man and Captain America, and Marvel Spider-Man 1000 Dot-To-Dot Book, with Spider-Man characters like Jonah Jameson and Doctor Octopus, will both be published on 6th October, priced at £9.99.

Two more Marvel titles will follow in 2017.

The books will be created by illustrator Thomas Pavitte, who has made several dot-to-dot books for Octopus.

Publisher Roly Allen said: “It’s been amazing to be able to step into Marvel's universe of characters for this project. Their editors, our team, and Thomas Pavitte have worked incredibly closely to create puzzles that will delight Marvel aficionados and bring their favorite characters to life in an exciting new way.”

The deal, which was for world rights, marks Ilex’s first foray into licensed publishing.
