Inkandescent signs Nathan Evans' debut short-story collection

Inkandescent has landed All the Young Queers: 16–24 Years, the debut short-story collection from Nathan Evans. 

Justin David, publisher, acquired world rights directly from the author for publication in February 2025. 

The collection contains nine stories spanning from the end of the 20th century to contemporary times to explore "our youthful years", with characters aged between 16 and 24 years old. The publisher continued: "Set in shiny cities, stuffy universities and other alternative universes, [the stories] explore issues from class to climate crisis... with tenderness, humour and inventiveness". 

Inkandescent previously published Evans’ novella One Last Song, about elderly queer people.
