Ivy Press scoops 'timely' guide to Zoom meetings

Ivy Press, an imprint of The Quarto Group, will publish You're on Mute by Jo Hoare, a guide to mastering virtual meetings and not embarrassing yourself. 

Senior commissioning editor Peter Jorgensen acquired world rights direct from the author. The guide will be published in paperback on 27th October 2020.  

You're on Mute will feature 101 tips explaining the dos and don'ts of Zoom meetings, showing how the 'new normal' isn't all bad. The book will cover everything from how to break the habit of waving at the end of virtual meetings to how to stop staring at your own face. 

Hoare is the author of seven books including two other "survival guides" The Office (Dog 'n' Bone, 2015) and Festivals (Dog 'n' Bone, 2016).
