Joffe Books is to re-release all 15 of crime author Pauline Rowson’s DI Andy Horton novels.
Set in Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight, the first title in the series will be republished by the indie in e-book and paperback later this month.
Rowson’s critically acclaimed crime novels have been translated into several languages. She is also author of the 1950s-set Inspector Ryga Mysteries, the Art Marvik mystery thrillers and two standalone thrillers.
Born and raised in the coastal city of Portsmouth, Rowson’s novels are featured on the University of Portsmouth’s Literary Map along with other authors from the area including Neil Gaiman, Neville Shute and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. A member of the Crime Writers’ Association and the Society of Authors, her novels were originally published by Severn House.
“I am delighted that my Harley-Davidson riding, sailing detective DI Andy Horton is joining the dynamic team at Joffe Books, introducing his multi-layered investigations and tumultuous life to a great new audience across the globe," Rowson said.
Jasper Joffe added: “Pauline is a huge talent with a great series of mysteries. I’ve had my eye on her for a while, and so I’m delighted she’s joining the Joffe Books team.”
