John Beaufoy Publishing nets guide to Britain’s garden birds by Couzens and Bovis
John Beaufoy Publishing has netted Dominic Couzens’ and photographer Carl Bovis’ An Identification Guide to Garden Birds of Britain and North-West Europe.
Founder John Beaufoy acquired world rights directly from the authors. The guide will be published in May 2023.
The book will use an “acclaimed formula”, combining “stunning” photography with “lively” text to describe 75 species of garden birds and give readers the tools to recognise them.
It follows Couzens’ and Gail Ashton’s An Identification Guide to Garden Insects of Britain and North-West Europe, described by the publisher as a “worthy bestseller”.
Beaufoy said: “John Beaufoy Publishing is proud to announce an exciting new collaboration with Dominic Couzens and Carl Bovis, An Identification Guide to Garden Birds of Britain, which will be the fourth title in our series of entertaining, informative and beautiful guides to Britain’s wildlife.
