Antique dealer Paul Martin's autobiography to John Blake

Antiques dealer and TV presenter Paul Martin is publishing his autobiography with John Blake. 

The presenter and resident expert for BBC shows "Flog It!" and "Trust Me, I’m a Dealer" will be writing the book in his own words, telling the story of his life and his work. It promises to be fully illustrated with exclusive, specially commissioned colour photographs, and to also combine expert advice and guidance, covering diverse subjects such as pop art, studio pottery and natural history.

Editor James Hodgkinson signed the deal for world rights to the yet-to-be-named book, through Anita Land of Anita Land Ltd.

Hodgkinson said: "We are thrilled to be publishing Paul Martin, a true luminary of one of Britain’s best-loved topics—collecting and dealing in antiques. 

"Inspired by his experience and enthusiasm, the result is an eye-opening treasure trove of a book for lovers of beautiful and rare objects everywhere, from lucky-find bargains to major pieces sold at auction."

The book is due to be publish in September 2017, priced £20.
