John Blake, a non-fiction imprint of Bonnier Books UK, has signed Katie Price’s “raw and explosive” memoir, This Is Me: The High Life. The Dark Times. The Full Story.
Ciara Lloyd, publishing director for John Blake and Blink, acquired world English language rights from Dom Smales at Glo Project. Price’s memoir will be published in July 2024.
In This Is Me, Price explores the “incredible highs and devastating lows of her life and turbulent career”. For the first time in her publishing history, Price will narrate the audiobook version of her memoir.
Price’s autobiography Being Jordan was published with John Blake in 2004 which sold more than 400,000 copies in hardback according to the publisher.
Lloyd said: “I’m thrilled to welcome Katie back home in the year that she’s also celebrating 30 years in the industry. Katie has had her fair share of ups and downs, and is so often misunderstood, so I can’t wait to publish her incredible book that shines a light on the real person behind the headlines. You won’t want to miss this.”
Price added: “I am so thrilled to be working with John Blake again on what I don’t doubt will be the most intimate portrayal of my life to date.”
