John Murray has netted Mind Fuel, a book designed to help readers build mental resilience, from Bear Grylls and life coach Will Van Der Hart.
Publishing director Andy Lyon acquired world rights from Caroline Michel at PFD. The book will be published in the UK and US later this year.
Mind Fuel is a "refreshing and candid" book helping readers cope with stress, develop positive habits and overcome limiting beliefs. Grylls draws on his survival experiences to share "honest, practical insights" he has used to overcome his fears. "Offering daily strategies, Mind Fuel will equip the reader with the tools needed to build lasting mental resilience," the publisher said.
Grylls commented: "I’m especially proud of Mind Fuel – the 365 daily entries are carefully designed to empower you towards strong mental resilience, challenge your thinking and help you overcome the barriers and obstacles that so many people feel limited by, day to day."
"We are all more conscious today than we ever were that being resilient is a survival skill," Lyons said. "With everything that is going on in the world, who better to give us daily, practical tips for training in mental fitness than the arch-survivor himself, Bear Grylls."
